Texas Tech Alumni Association (projects)
The Texas Tech Alumni Association is an independent non-profit organization to support Texas Tech University and maintain a lifelong connection between the alumni of Texas Tech and the University.
The Price Group has worked with the Alumni Association for many years, providing multiple campaigns and projects. Texas Tech System Day is an event held at the state capitol during biennial legislative sessions, recognizing the TTU System. The Alumni Association delivers reminders to the legislators in the form of gifts, with statistics regarding the number of alumni within their individual districts. TPG has designed these gifts since 2007, establishing a well-received and highly-anticipated tradition for the legislators as well as a successful reminder of the collective voting power of TTU System alumni.
The Alumni Association came to TPG when needing to raise funds for the expansion of their Frazier Pavilion, an on-campus meeting and event facility. TPG recommended a custom-built ‘photo album’ for major donors, designed to show features and benefits of the expansion alongside researched photos of the prospective donor’s time at Texas Tech. A virtual tour video of the proposed expansion accompanied the book as part of the individual presentations. Fundraising was highly successful and the expansion was completed on schedule.
